Hello Ladies!

Let's have some fun!  I'm excited to host again at my home and share even more engaging conversations and laughs with all of you.  We will snack, taste wine, listen to music and have a good ol' time!

Here are the specifics:

1.  Bring a dish.  It can be an appetizer, main dish or dessert.  Be creative :)  Please EMAIL ME ([masked] or [masked]) what you plan on bringing, or post on the site.  I'll keep an updated food list on the "more" link of the event.  (Go to "more" link at top toolbar => click on "files") Let's keep the dessert cap at 5.

2.  Bring a beverage of your choice.  I will organize a small blind wine tasting station.  The labels will be covered and you will have to guess the varietal.  Prizes will be given away to winners!  I will only have enough wine for all the ladies to taste, not drink, so please bring your own beverage.

3.  Please pay Anastasia the $7 fee via paypal.  I will collect the money prior to the event to pay for serving ware, game prizes, the wine to taste.

Please call or text me [masked]) with any questions.  If you don't know where I live, make sure to contact me as I will not post my address on the site.

Looking forward to seeing you all then!

-Shanlie

I'm glad you ladies enjoyed them but they are so very simple. Marinade whole water chestnuts in soy sauce for 1-8 hrs. Drain. Roll in brown sugar. Wrap each in 1/3 slice of bacon & secure with toothpick. Bake at 350degrees for 30-45min. I like to broil mine for the last 5+ min to get the bacon crispy. Grocery List: 1 1b bacon, 3 cans whole water chestnuts, soy sauce, brown sugar and toothpicks.

I'll bring a Michigan treat called "pasties" which are pastry crust stuffed with meat, potatoes, onions and carrots, served with gravy if you like. I'll make mini meat pies for the event rather than the huge ones that are more traditional.

    • Shanlie R.

LOL. I was thinking...I think I have some pasties up in one of my closet drawers somewhere. Excited you're coming!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
