Yay! I have reservations for the 11 a.m. drag brunch at the Country Club! I've gone before and it's great fun! $10 bottomless mimosas and delicious food! If you want to stay to swim afterward, admission to the pool is half off for brunch goers - $7.50. Sounds like a great summer camp day to me!
Mary Oliver wrote a beautiful poem that ended with the line, "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?"
This group is about doing just that - living wild and precious. Living wild and precious can be anything from canoeing by moonlight in the bayous to donning wigs and going out dancing to 80s music, to gathering to discuss a compelling book.
It's about making time for ourselves even when we're busy taking care of everyone else. It's about living our dreams, big and small, and supporting each other to do so.
It's about smart women gathering to share their wisdom and have fun! It's about rediscovering joy through fantastic experiences that enliven our senses and energize us. Sometimes it's about resting, and sometimes it's about playing.
