Please tell us your favorite genre, author, beverage or tell us all three.

I usually like young adult (Harry Potter, Hunger Games) and science fiction(Abe Lincoln, Vampire Killer, but mix it up with classic literature. Just re-read Les Miserables and Christopher Moore's "a Dirty Job". I love Jane Austen, Tony Morrison... I guess I am a reading schizophrenic. As for beverages, I favor wine but also like Dirty martinis and anything not too sweet.

In your opinion, what does a book group discussion add to your enjoyment of the reading experience?

It opens your mind to seeing the story or characters a bit differently than your own experience led you to (dang, another preposition). And who doesn't want to share a great story?


I love reading and often do so with a glass of wine. Only I never have anyone to enjoy talking about it with. ( sorry about the preposition at the end).
