Hello: I am an educator who moved to New Orleans from New York City who loves music, dance, good novels and films, photography and just getting out and doing things around the city.

When did you move to the area?

I moved to New Orleans in September.

Are you single/married?

I am married, however, my husband lives in New York.

Did you move with children?

No.

What was the most exciting thing you've done since living here?

I attended an event that Obama was speaking at. He is the second American president that I've seen speak live.

Why do you want to join the NOLA Newbies Meetup?

I want to meet good people, and hopefully develop some lasting friendships.
