Just moved the area and find yourself without a social circle to do whatever with? Stuck indoors on a a beautiful day wishing you had someone to call up? Up for a drink, but hate going out to a bar by yourself? Just moved into a new place and want to have a housewarming party..but have no one to invite?

The above situations seem to be more common than people would let on, and this group aims to change that for members. The goal of this group is to put together small manageable events of all types, happy hours, hikes, general outings, dinners, potluck nights, and whatever else comes to mind.

I am going to stay away from mass/mob groups by keeping RSVP limits relatively low so people have a chance to actually interact with each other in small settings.

This group  will be counted a success  if members start interacting outside of the group and the structure of meetups. Members should strive to build  a social network that endures in this very mobile and sometimes isolating region.
