Planning Session #2
We have the opportunity to borrow the basic equipment and lights required to assemble an animated light display. We have spoken with the owner of our complex and they are open to us putting up a show on the property but we need to submit a design to them to get final approval. The hope is that assembling a quality display will draw attention to Nova Labs and the exciting things that we do.
Putting together a show like this takes time and effort from multiple people that can commit to helping design, assemble, install, and program the lights. I will be available to guide this effort, but I need lots of help if we are going to make this happen.
I would like to assemble a group of people who are willing and able to commit to helping pull this off. No experience is required and this will be a great learning experience for those who are interested in learning the basics of animated lighting. We will need the skills of all types of makers!
Initially we will plan to use all off the shelf components, but there are definitely opportunities to explore some of the other open source technologies available such as using arduino's or other devices in the display.
The proposed location of the lights is on the blank wall of the storage facility facing the lab parking lot
