(open work area, not classroom)

This class is in support of our trip to Haiti to teach this material to kids at the Village of Hope school. The class fees will go towards supplies for the class. This is a chance for Bryce and I to do a test run of the material we'll be using and get some feedback.
NOTE: The ideal student will have little to no background in this material. That will help us gauge the level and make sure we are not too high.
Background: The Haitian culture is actually anti-maker since it is not considered "educated" to work with your hands. There is a strong believe that educated Americans do not stoop to making things themselves. So, in an effort to emulate, once the kids learn to read and write, the families discourage any form of working with your hands since they are now special. How ironic Novalabs is in this context!
