Robot Build Group!

About this Build Group

Robotics is a broad subject - it covers electronics, hardware, controls, programming, and much more. We know the community is interested in Robotics, but some don't know where to start.

This Build Group is 8 sessions, spanning 8 weeks, with one session each Wednesday, starting on June 18th

With this Build Group, we will use the Parallax Arduino Board of Education Robot Kit - aka BoE Bot - that comes with everything you need to learn basic robotics!

About Build Groups at Nova Labs

We have held Build Groups for other hardware projects, including many for 3D printers. The format of a Build Group allows for many people to work on the same hardware and access experts to answer their inevitable questions. The Build Groups provide a learning method that differs from a classroom - you are given a kit, instructions, and goals, then set loose. The Instructors are there to answer questions, but YOU do the BUILDING

Included in the cost

1x Parallax Arduino BoE Bot kit
1x Arduino Uno R3
1x USB A-M to B-M cable
4x AAA batteries

What to bring to EACH class

1x laptop
1x yourself

The Instructors

Your organizer's refund policy for Robot Build Group!

Refunds offered if:

  • you can cancel at least 7 day(s) before the Meetup

Additional notes: Since this is a build group, we use the payments to gauge interest and take orders for the kits we build as a group.

Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.

Regardless of the refund policy set by the organizer, Meetup may issue refunds on an organizer's behalf if we determine that Meetup's Payment Policies have been violated.
