Looking forward to seeing everyone!
I'll be doing my best to introduce UICollectionView and hopefully inspire you to start working it into your projects.

Great presentation, John. Sorry I couldn't stay longer to chat.
If anyone is looking for some more UICollectionView code, check out this demo project from Mark Pospesel.
Double-tap the screen and the app will switch layouts while it's running.

Thanks for putting together the UICollectionView demo. It is awesome timing since I'd use them in an upcoming project.
I wasn't able to make it. I was at the Pabst for the Grizzly Bear concert. Hoping to make the next one. Looks like it was a good turnout!
John, can you publish your presentation Slidershare?
Sure thing. http://files.meetup.c... And thanks for getting the Apple TV set up!

Thanks for the presentation John, sounds like there are many ways a UICollectionVoew could be used. Can you send a copy of your slides to [masked] please?
Here is the GameDev group (Unity3D) group for Milwaukee.
15 iOS Developers! That's a new record!
Have you seen Helios?
It's built with Ruby and Postgres and can run on Heroku. I feel that I really need to learn Ruby. Is anyone else interested in learning Ruby or Heroku?
I wonder if they are using Mattt Thompson's Rack::CoreData. https://github.com/mat...
And looking at the bottom of the page now I see it is from Mattt.

Yeah, the list of things he has done is intimidating.
The time has finally come. I've got the main conference room reserved and we will have an Apple TV in place so that John can easily share to the screen. And if anyone else would like to show anything after John's presentation it will much easier to do.
See you all tonight.
Anything special I'll need to do to transmit the presentation from a mac or ipad? Thanks!
John, I am going to work with William shortly to get it set up in the meeting room and test it with my Mac and iPhone. If it is just AirPlay it should be what you'd expect.
Super. Thanks Brennan!
I think AirPlay requires a 2011 or newer Mac.
for mirroring anyway.
iPad should be fine then, yes? I'll have to install keynote on it.
Looking to meet and talk to other mobile developers in the area.
