NSCoder Night

  • February 11, 2014 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Get together with other Cocoa developers and hack on your own projects!

Those without a project are invited to join pairs, and those with a project are invited to hack code. Anything Objective-C is fair game: iOS/Mac apps, Cocoapods, that crazy late-night app idea, working through tutorials or books, etc.

There will be food and drinks.

Bring a laptop, bring an idea, and bring your love for Cocoa!

Thanks for coming, everyone! I actually finished the core functionality of my terrible Flappy Bird clone during the meetup. A little more tweaking, and that baby will be ready for the App Store! I promise to never get overwhelmed and take it back down after all the success.

I made my camera project work (kind of) in the last 30seconds of the meetup. Hopefully I'll have something fun to show next time. Great to meet you all.

Oh by the way - I talked to some of you about "marble diagrams" as a way of modeling reactive rigs. RXJava's wiki has marble diagrams for all composing operators:

Sadly my Cocoa skills have been struck down by the common cold. Hope to meet you all next time!

I¨ll try to go there and finish up some Bluetooth LE code that I work on. Many have coded the same thing but then I get to know about it too. It´s about beacons and detecting them.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
