Write (up to) 256 characters about one of the following: ARC, auto layout, toll-free bridging, or NSStream.

As far as I know, ARC is automatic reference counting which means the compiler takes care of all memory management. You no longer have to worry about retain, release or autorelease. However, unlike other devs who would love this feature I think I would still prefer to know whats happening to the memory behind the scenes...oops, I think I hit the 256 character limit!

  • Hi Namrata, welcome to NSCoderTO! Come join us and get a manual reference counted project out of the way so you can use ARC and save all that precious brainpower on making the rest of the app sing! ;)
