Introduction

I'm a young Dutch-Canadian iOS developer who is about to start Computational Math at the University of Waterloo. I've worked on two apps, one which is about to be in the App Store and one for a company in Amsterdam.

What platforms and languages do you use most often in your developer life?

Objective-C, iOS 6.0, OCUnit, OCMock, TBXML, FMDB

Shout out to any of your apps available for download:

Write (up to) 256 characters about one of the following: ARC, auto layout, toll-free bridging, or NSStream.

You can simulate a piped NSStream by 1) subclassing both NSInputStream and NSOutputStream to be able to read AND write or 2) mocking an NSInputStream and an NSOutputStream with OCMock to have a buffer in between the write and the read.

  • Hi Mitchell, welcome to NSCoderTO! You are the first one to write something serious about NSStream, so that is much appreciated. Hope to see you out at a future event!

Ferocious Apps

They pay the Meetup dues. And they say "RAWR" a lot.
