Pickup Sand Volleyball in Mundelein (BACK TO THE PARK DISTRICT)

If you haven't been out to our Sunday outdoor games, a little info... There are a lot of competitive players, but there are some beginners too.  We try to even things up based on skill level.  1-3 PM all skill levels will be mixed to form even teams.  3-5 PM there will be a competitive net, and a non-competitive net.  If there are too many competitive players on a net, they will play on the NC net and rotate back in.

Most games are 6v6, but we sometimes play 2's also.

This is family a friendly group/event.  No language, fighting, etc tolerated.  You'll be asked to leave, and removed from the group.

We don't allow the kids to play volleyball with adults.  It's not safe for them, or fun for the rest of us.  There is plenty of room around the courts for kids to play in the sand, or they can head to the spray park right next to the courts (when it's warm).

Come play! All skill levels welcome.

Bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses, and your A-Game. :)

Back to the old location! Crossroads was nice though. Just my personal preference to play at the park district. Old habits die hard!

Are there any opportunities to play indoor volleyball for novices?

It may be a long drive, but the Bloomingdale Park District has a volleyball open gym on Thursday evenings. There tends to be a number of novice players that go there (as well as a few competitive players mixed in here and there).

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
