Friday in Palatine Falcon Park

http://www.palatineparks.org/falconopengym.html

There are 3 nets and usually high school/middle school kids and their coaches practicing passing/setting/hitting on a girl's net height. Sometimes they have enough people to play a full game on men's height, but it's hit and miss. So I could use a couple of people to get some games going. I know It's says only 1.5 hrs on the website, but the nets are always up even half an hr earlier because the kids are practicing, so I'll be there at 6, and they've let us played previous times until 8:15.

Price is $5 without a Palatine Park ID. If you're a Palatine resident,  this is free with a $10 annual pass

I won't be able to make it this week to Gurnee so I was planning on heading to Falcon Park Sunday for their open volleyball. Did they switch days or is this something different?

It's something different, it's not the 3 hour Sunday open gym. It's scheduled for 1.5 hours but the nets are always up way before the stated start time and I've played for 2 hours. If you have a Palatine Park ID, it's free.

Are you sure this is a good event? Some people tonight were saying it's all young kids and not very fun.

That's why I'm posting it. There are 3 nets. The young kids only use 2 of the nets. I want to play with adults or kids that at least have some good passing/setting. Sometime there are good high school kids, some better than me. But it's hit and miss, that's why I posted it, so we can get more people going.
