NTEN Toronto Tech Club Message Board › April 11th Toronto Tech Meetup
|A former member||
Our next Toronto Tech Meetup is next Wednesday, April 11th starting at 6:00 PM. In an effort to prevent people from getting lost in the crowd and make networking as productive as possible we're only opening up 40 seats.
Register online or at the door and students with a valid student ID are free. Moreover, Erin and her crew have graciously agreed to keep the CSI coffee bar open for the evening but it's buy your own.
Presenting on the 11th are Engagio's William Mougayar, Next Parliament's Cristian Contreras and Jamie Alexander from Sound Selecta.
Engagio is a Gmail-like productivity tool to manage your conversations in social networks and commenting systems. Engagio gives you visibility about the people behind these conversations and reveals their social identities profile, saving you time and allowing you to connect with them.
Next Parliament is an initiative designed to explore one question: What would people do? Policy making is a space dominated by politicians, lawyers and corporations. With the exception of high profile cases, the voice of the people generally gets lost in the noise. The goal of our site is to provide Canadians with a decision making platform driven by consensus, that utilizes collective intelligence to reach more effective and more democratic directions for policy.
Sound Selecta products give people the ability to enjoy music and art in new and innovative ways. It does this by combining proprietary technology and creative talent to produce compelling, interactive musical experiences for adults and children.
