Create connection at the Farmers' Market

Did the recent Boston Marathon bombing not meet your needs for safety? Or are you bothered by something closer to home, like your health or career? Or, are you really turned on to NVC and wanting to dip your toe in a little deeper? Come to volunteer as an empathic listener, or be heard about anything that's bothering you at the Connection Action Project's Deep Listening and Current Events Post this coming Tuesday, April 23, and subsequent 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at the South Berkeley Farmer's Market, west side of Adeline near 63rd St. There we will have have two Connection Action Project sub-stations:

Current Events Conversations 3 to 4 PM
Empathic sharing about current political, cultural, economic and environmental issues. You are invited to bring a topic of concern from the news, a community organization or a creative expression which you would like to be included in our conversation.

Deep listening Post 2:30-4:30 PM
Come to be heard about ANYTHING:
- Food/health issues
- Happy events
- Things that bother you
- The weather
- Anything else
We post a five minute limit on our listening services and accept new deep listening volunteers.
