Empathy Cafe

Join Edwin Rutsch, Vicki Lapp and others for an empathy circle. Edwin will facilitate so each person will be heard and receive empathy.

Open to experienced nvc people, as well as those who don't even know what nvc stands for, but appreciate empathetic listening. This is an opportunity to establish a sense of community and connection.

This a free event, and the first time it will be offered in this format. We will be discussing the possibility of creating ongoing empathy cafés, and your input will be valuable.

Look for us in the eating area at Whole Foods, Oakland.

you can see the empathy circle format here.
The topic can be, "what are our needs for empathy?"

the safey guards would be that everyone agrees to use empathic listening in the circle format.

focus topic suggested is/will be? and what are the safety guards to be in place before starting? (to put all on notice so as to not take up hostages (for being in place of public)
