We will start at the Northern entrance to SNP and hike along Skyline Drive to an overlook to welcome the new year. About five miles of total hiking with some elevation gain. Bring flash light and warm clothes. No booze, but nonalcoholic wine/beer/hot chocolate should be fine.

Weather looks fine for tonight in Front Royal with temps a little below freezing. Dress warmly. It should be a great event. If you have a question just e-mail me. Also, if you cannot go for whatever reason, please change your RSVP so that those on the wait list can go. See you all this evening!

Any particular reason this is limited to 20? Seems I remember a larger crowd when I did this wonderful hike a few years ago.

We usually limit all hikes to 20 on Meet Up. I predict that many will drop out towards the end. Keep in mind that people from the club outside Meet Up can also join. All that said, if that 20 is keeping you out please feel free to ignore the limit and just show up at the place. Mano

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
