Thanks Mano. Great trails thru the city. Lunch was on point. Hike back to Tenley thru rock creek had good rock scrambles, lots of mud and some hills. Good stuff

Beautiful, beautiful day for a hike through DC parks. Mano led us through all three main parks -- very muddy trail, not surprisingly and some snow and ice at first. Good group of people. I could have done without the MacArthur Blvd-Foxhall Rd part, but I think that our leader wisely decided the trail that descends steeply to Fletcher's Boathouse and the towpath would have been much too slippery today.

This should be a good time. I'm use to a more intense style of hiking and camping but looking forward to this.

Is the trail flat or with high elevation? How to take the short cut by taking metro? My capability is 9-11 in flat trail, 7-10 in mountain trail with elevation. Will I be able do this one?

I think this would meet your requirement.
