Holiday Hike - Little Devil Stairs

A Level Hike - Shenandoah National Park

Hike a 13 mile circuit in Northern SNP, ascending Little Devil Stairs to Fourway. Proceeding on the Keyser Run Fire Road to south on the AT and returning on the Piney Ridge Trail and Hull School Trails. Elevation gain is 2,800 feet. NOTE - this hike is not suitable for inexperienced hikers.

Hike rating is based on both the linear distance and elevation change with 400 feet of climbing considered equivalent to 1 mile linear distance. The ratings are:
A=Difficult (greater than 13 miles)
B=Moderately Difficult (10-13 miles)
C=Moderate (7-10 miles)
D=Easy (less than 7 miles)
