Welcome to the NW Steelhead & Salmon Fishing Group.

We are a group of anglers with a passion for sport fishing as well as conservation to ensure we have the best fishing available.

The purpose of our group is to connect people in the Portland and surrounding areas in numerous types of fishing and related activities.

Our meetups will include fishing trips, training seminars, volunteer activities, meetings of the NW steelheader association, and any other type of fishing activity you would like.

Many of our members are also associated with the NW Steelheaders Association so you will see a lot of meetings and activity for their meetings.

Weather you’re a new fisherman or old, we welcome you. We hope to share the knowledge we have and learn from others who have fished the local waters for many years.

(We have a no tolerance policy for breaking the law, using inappropriate language, being rude or degrading to others, and/or using this site for any reason that does not support the purpose above. Any violator will be automatically kicked).

As a side note we encourage you to either show up to events you RSVP for or cancel your RSVP. If there is a paid event and you don't show up you will be charged if not cancelled by the deadline. Non payment will result in a kick from our group.
