Forest Park hike-Newton Rd, BPA Rd, Wildwood Trail Loop

After meeting at QFC and setting up carpools to the trailhead for those who would like (I will be looking for a ride), we will start at the Newton Road TH, take Newton Road down to BPA Road, turn UPHILL on BPA Road (climbs about 800 feet in less than a mile), then turn onto Wildwood trail to Newton Road, then back up Newton Road back to the TH. Total mileage is around five miles. About half of this hike is exposed without the usual canopy of trees. We will hike rain or shine. Please, no pets on this one. This hike will have a pace of 2-2.5 miles/hour (brisk, but not hurried). Bring water, food and proper gear (the ten essentials are recommended on every hike) to keep you happy on the trail. Anyone who would like to meet at the TH let me know and I can give you directions, if needed. You can find a map of the hike here: http://www.mapmyhike.com/routes/view/148723913

Sorry for the cancel Scott. I was hoping I would be farther along in getting over this dang sinus infection by now-still not up for a hike :(

I'll be meeting at the trailhead. I did Germantown to BPA road on Sunday and the trail was quite muddy. Just a heads up

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
