This was and still is one of my favorite rides in the Willamette Valley. Its a loop ride of about 42 miles if we start at Champoeg Park. The park charges a $5 fee to park per car or you can get a yearly pass to the state parks for about $30.
Its a fairly flat ride with a few rolling hills along the route. The main problem the other year was my butt was yelling the last few miles in. Ouch!!
We ride to Mt Angel, where we will stop and have a bite to eat. I usually eat at the Glockenspeil (obviously a German place) but there are other choices.
I am a fair weather rider so Sunshine is important, we will cancel the ride if rain is obviously in the forecast.
Distance 42 miles
Fee $5 bucks at state park fee per car.
