Mt. Defiance is one of the toughest hikes in the Gorge if not the toughest. We will hike up Mt. Defiance Ridge to the summit and hike down Mt. Defiance Trail. This is not a hike for rookies or hikers out of shape. Hikes suffer from rating inflation at times but not this one. It's difficult.
