About Moxie Mamas

We are currently looking for moms in the Fayetteville area that are available for daytime activities.

MOXIE MAMAS IS THE MOST AWESOME MOMS GROUP AROUND!We aren’t your typical group of moms. While we do typical mom stuff like host playdates and meet for coffee at the book store (kid area), we like to think outside the box and plan meetups which help us free our inner moxie as individuals! Our primary goals are to develop long-lasting, quality friendships with one another, socialize our children, and provide meaningful experiences for the entire family. And we just wanna have fun while doing it!

Based in Fayetteville, we have approximately 30 members from all over NWA (and a few out of state that have sadly moved away.) We enjoy the tight-knit feel of our smallish group but are excited to make new friends and grow our group a bit more.

Our message board is extremely active. Whether we're asking thought-provoking questions just for discussion, giving practical advice about anything and everything, posting funny stuff for laughs, or sharing personal matters for encouragement and support, the message board gives us the chance to connect with each other every day.

WE KNOW HOW TO MEETUP. Most of our regular events take place in Fayetteville, but we aren’t afraid to pack up the families occasionally and caravan an hour or two away for extra special events.

Weekly or monthly events usually include:
• Play dates
• Walking or jogging together
• Lunch at Fun City or Chic-Fil-A with the kids
• Farmer’s Market
• Knitting or scrapbooking sessions
• Book Club
• Toddler music class
• Girls nights out (or in)

WE THINK BIG. Last year the Moxie Mamas helped raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation's Race for the Cure by organizing a Totally Awesome 80's Dance Party!

WE LEARNED THE THRILLER DANCE. Several of us also performed the Thriller Dance a few times just for fun (and for a wedding reception!) around the area. Here we are performing at the Parson Hills Elementary School sock hop dressed like zombies.

HOW TO JOIN?: You should join if you to be an ACTIVE MEMBER in an active group! If you are involved in lots of other groups, afraid to let loose once in a while, or are "message board shy," this is probably not the right group for you.

Simply click on JOIN GROUP, fill out the easy introduction profile questionnaire, and upload a picture of yourself. We will correspond with you via email to coordinate an in-person meeting where you can meet us and we can meet you (to make sure you're a real mom - can't ever be too safe these days). Once your membership has been approved, you will gain access to the Moxie Mamas calender of events and message board. There is a 30 day trial period, so you may dip your feet into the group, attend some events and decide if this is the right group for you. Once your 30 days are up, you will be charged the $10.00 yearly membership fee, and then you'll be official!
