The Cirque du Cycling event on Friday night is a great night of bicycle street racing along N. Mississippi Avenue.
The event features a cargo bike race, family ride, a high-speed bike race, a beer garden, free bike parking, and much more.
Get front row action AND a free bib to the Portland Century bike ride on August 18th by volunteering to help out by setting up for the race and acting as course marshal on the race course. Note your volunteer efforts while watching a great evening of bike races saves you the $71 Portland Century registration fee. We will be riding that event in 2 or more groups.
We would like you to get there by 5 pm (or as soon as you can make it after work)
. The course marshal duties last until about 9 pm.
Cirque du Cycling takes place on Mississippi Avenue between Skidmore and Fremont. Bike parking is free, abundant, and located on Fremont right near Mississipp
i (next to Flavor Spot).
You will report to the volunteer tent at the corner of Failing and Mississippi and look for either me or Chad Smoot.
