Join us for the first of our recurring speaker series series events. Every month, we'll ask a prominent social entrepreneur or social responsibility professional to come and tell us a little about themselves, how they got started and the successes (and mistakes) they've had.
This month our speaker is Christoph Gorder, President of Charity Water. Christoph grew up in the Central African Republic and Nigeria, where getting clean water is still a dream for millions. He’s spent the last 15 years at AmeriCares, bringing medicine, medical supplies and healthcare to people in crisis around the world. Christoph joined charity: water in 2012 to lead their programs, run operations, and help maximize efficiency and impact worldwide
This is an informal event - speakers will talk for 20 minutes or so, and then everyone will stick around for some drinks and conversation.
Cost for this event is $10 in advance, $20 at the door. Included in the price is your first beer, wine or well drink. Goodniks in Residence and Goodnik Nomads are free.
PS if you're not familiar with Goodnik, check out our website or our other meetup groups. If you have questions about the NYC CSR group's new initiatives or Goodnik, shoot a note to me at [masked].
