Review of the event it went smoothly very organized, informative, not rushed. The one thing that got me interested in this event is that there were recruiters at this event. As for many would agree that it is one of the many reasons they decided to come to the event. I've been to a few meetups in the past and they were not organized this way that's why i like this one in particular. In terms of content i felt it was good for people that are not to computer savvy though i think at a tech startup event like this one in particular. i would hope most people are pretty well versed in social media, networking. What i would like to see at future meetup events is recruiters or hiring managers from different industry's that hire more for entry level job roles.

The event had a multitude of great strategies, tips and information on what recruiters are looking for. As someone actively in job search mode, there are plenty of moments where I ask myself how should I do this or how do I approach this person, etc. This event made all of that much clearer and am very happy I attended. To echo Alexander's review, I did enjoy the way this event was organized and felt it was very interactive. Thank you all for organizing this and to Vicki, Brandi and Heather for all the time, help and speaking to us after the event.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
