Join our group to meet other local movie fans! Get together to plan movie outings and discuss hot movies of the month. We will go to local movie theaters to watch movies, and head to local restaurant, bars and coffee houses afterwards to meet, mingle and discuss. We are a fun and exciting group of people that love movies. We discuss the films we watch over drinks or a nice meal.  We love to meet and socialize with new and old friends.

OUR MOVIE NIGHTS

Our movie nights are truly fun and provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere that allows you to meet and socialize with other movie fans like you. If you RSVPed for the movie you MUST come to the activity we have planned afterwards, we don't want people to come just for the movie, we want people who want to come to the movie, have a great night and make new friends.

Most common reasons to join this group:

1- "Hate going to the movies alone"

2- "I love movies and make friends"

3- "I love talking about movies"

This is why you must come to the mix and mingle afterwards, and why the $3.00 will only be refunded to those attending the whole event: movie & dinner.

WHAT MOVIES AND WHERE DO WE GO?

We watch all kinds of movies: mainstream, indie, thriller, comedy, drama, foreign films (Spanish, French, etc with English subtitles), and anything interesting. Always know that I welcome your input and ideas. Please email me at sandoval.milton8@gmail.com with your suggestions!

We go all over the city, from the Lower to the Upper East and West Side, and everywhere in between. We want to experience different areas and different theaters.

WHAT ARE THE $15.00-22.00 FOR?

The $15.00 include your movie ticket and Meetup fees. When you RSVP 'YES' you will be asked to make an Amazon Payment for $15.00 for a regular movie, and $24.00 for an IMAX movie.  When you show up at the movie theater, find the organizer or assistant organizer in charge of the event. They will have your movie ticket. YOU DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE A SEPERATE TICKET, THE $15.00/$22.00 FEE INCLUDES YOUR MOVIE TICKET.

If you can't find me (your organizer) or the assistant organizer in charge of the event call us on our cell which will be e-mailed to you previous to the event.

After the event concludes, $3 will be refunded to you via amazon.

REFUND RULES

* Full refund if Meetup is cancelled (no exceptions).

* No refund when you RSVPed but fail to attend:

For some events we have to limit the number of attendees due to the limited seating we are able to book. When you RSVPed you are taking a spot, a seat, a ticket. If you RSVPed and fail to attend, you are preventing someone else to come and have a blast. Someone else who might really wants to come and enjoy the event. So if you RSVPed for an event but have a change of plans, kindly change your RSVP status within 24 hours. This will allow others to change their plans also.

1st no-show: If you fail to do so, your name will be put on the blacklist (no-show list).

2nd no-show: We will kindly remove you from the group, because it is not fair to others... it's not fair to you! We keep track of no-shows.

Please also note that you lose every right for a refund when making an Amazon Payment. Also check each event individually for refund terms.

All rules are common sense. Remember everybody there is looking to have a great time, so please:

* Be open to conversations

* Respect others as you wish to be respected

* And most important: smile

ABOUT DINNER

Please be advised that you are responsible for all your expenses. Please bring enough cash to cover your check.

The NY City Movie Watchers & Much More group’s organizer and his assistant organizers reserve the right to take and utilize photographs, video, or any type of recording of participating person while engaged in our or associated activities. I consent to NY City Movie Watchers & Much More to use the photograph, video, or recording of me for advertising, promotional, or related purposes, and waive all rights to compensation and other rights which may arise as a result.
