Tell us about your creative side.

I sew professionally! Tailor, alter, build, repair, bead, embroider. I have a deep love for satorial counterculturists. I paint, mostly acrylics and watercolor/gauche. I am deeply embroiled in writing my first novel. I love history and illustration, some fine art and architecture. I love cooking and eating and drinking and laughing with friends. Life=passion.

Where can we see/hear/read some of your works? Any links?

What do you hope to gain by participating in the culture circle?

I want my synapses to fire on all eight cylinders! I want to be inspired and motivated, I want my curosity piqued. I want to learn something new. I want to dive to new depths.

What are your favorite cultural expressions? Which movies, songs, novels, poems, museums, etc.?

The Met Museum: Egyptian wing. Head of a queen in yellow jasper. Best piece in the museum! Despite many years in live theatre, I know very few showtunes. I love punk rock, classic Motown, blue-eyed soul. Then there are times for Dead Can Dance. Or Sinatra, Julie London and Lady Day.

Links to some of your favorite web-sites for creative inspiration?

Lame. I'd much rather talk about it in person.
