Where can we find the presentation?

I highly recommend watching the video of Scott's presentation on the MVC framework and when you're done, troll the blogs for bits and scraps of useful information on the framework.

While not at liberty to discuss it further, I can, in theory, say that, hypothetically, that MVC framework looks damn nice. Finally a reason to dump the kludgy backward ASPX model and move ASP.NET out of the 90s and  be able to play with the big boys in terms of agility.

Hi,

Yup, I was there :) Big news indeed.  There is a video of the presentation you can download which showcases the feature set.

Scott is quite keen to ensure there will be seamless intergration with Spring.NET and I'll be getting an early snapshot to help in that regard...

Cheers,
Mark

In case people missed this, Scott Guthrie announced a new Microsoft-led MVC Framework for ASP.NET apps which seems to provide some interesting features. Not much in the way of details yet; many blogs have mentioned in but they all seem to point to the same Jeff Palermo story here .

Looks like something to keep on top of, especially for you Spring.Net fans out there, as it makes mention of some IoC aspects...

Meanwhile I'm up in Boston at ReMix07 Boston. If anyone else is here let me know, we can grab a beer. I'll try to send along details of anything interesting I see up here.

Cheers - Daniel
