Scott,

Very interesting.  I found some other articles while researching Accelerator v2.  Seems that Microsoft has dedicated research in this area.  The Intel i7 cores have some great improvements over the standard SSE family.  I don't know F#, but I assume this stuff will work just as well with C# as it is a native library.

It appears that SIMD support is in the works. Check out Accelerator v2 and a demo in F#
