No problem with your suggestions just let us know how do you wish us to post on the Job Board and your instructions will be respected, we are not the enemies. We all belong to the same community perhaps in different capacities but our aim is the same, knowledge, education, sharing, support, making a living, being present

Have a great weekend everybody

Yeah, if these email start to be full of job postings, I will unsubscribe. I get enough recruiter spam already. Let's keep this focused on one thing.

I have to agree with Marc. Let's keep this list for HTML5 developers working on projects and not let it turn into a job list.

There are plenty of other places where people can look for jobs, like Dice, Monster, Craigslist, etc.

2 thumbs down as well.

In all my years in the biz a list job posting has never led to anything but more email addresses and promotion for these supposed recruiters and a lot of wasted bandwidth.

They dangle fictitious jobs for client leads. Those whom prey on folks that really need work are not deserving of a free ride imho.

No recruiter worth their salt ever plies discussion lists for clients.

2 thumbs down!

In these economic times when I have a lot of colleagues out of work, job postings are great! I forward them to the colleagues that are still looking for jobs or those that have just been laid-off.

My recommendation is to have all posts tagged with [JOB]. That has stopped complaints on other lists.

If that is not good enough, it would be nice to have an alternate list, "[address removed]", or I know of some open source Job posting software, but it is not in Java.

Perhaps there is blog or forum software in Java for this, if that is a show stopper.

Keep up the good work, Bruce

We've been getting a lot of job posts lately to our mailing list.

Just wanted to find out if our community wanted these posts or should I block them.

Let me know.

Btw, some cool speakers are coming to the NYHTML5 User Group.  Stay tuned.
