20th Hardware Meetup

Hey hardwarians,

It's time for another meetup, and this one is going to be epic. We have some pretty amazing speakers going on this week, so you know, put this in your calendar and get yourself down to our amazing venue at Microsoft!

5:45: arrival and pizza!

6:00 - 6:10pm: Welcome and sponsors

6:10 - 6:30: Jeff Glasse from Kogeto will be talking about his journey to create an iphone accessory that lets you take video in 360 degrees. They will also be launching a new and fantastic product. Not only does Jeff have a lot of wisdom to impart through his experiences, he's also a stand up comedian, so be prepared to both learn and laugh.

6:25 - 6:40: Brian Langel presenting Dash, a connected device that allows you to connect your car to your smartphone, and unlock enhanced performance, cost savings and social driving.

6:40 - 6:55pm:  Kegan Schouwenburg, founder of SOLS, who will be talking to you about their 3D printed custom orthotics (shoe insoles), all done with an iPad, and er well, a 3D printer. Before starting SOLS, Kegan was the 6th employee at Shapeways, and built out their factory, and has an awesome story to tell.

6:55 - 7:10pm: Carlos Ospina and Nicolas Vansnick, cofounders of Botfactory, will be presenting their new desktop electronics prototyping device, which is currently live on Kickstarter. This is an awesome tool for your portfolio of maker gear!

7:10 - 8:30pm: networking

8:30pm - onwards: on to Beer Authority for drinks!

See you then!

I'm so sorry I can't attend! It looks like a great lineup, but by the time I'd get to the event, it'd be over (I come in from NJ.)

Hoping to make the next one!
