Crisp Media seeks to recruit an experienced front-end developer to design and implement some of our clients' cutting-edge projects. This is a full-time position for someone who is deeply technical, has great communication skills, and who is also dynamic, experienced, and ready to contribute to a specialized team in its New York office.


For you, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS are not just for blogs and websites, but tools for high-profile, large-scale creative projects. You have a history of being a go-to developer who can execute swiftly on changing requirements and add depth to the team with your great people skills and communication. You are inspired to deliver projects ahead of time that consistently exceed expectations.


At Crisp, you will be tasked with inventing and implementing rich media experiences for mobile devices based on requirements from leading advertisers. This project-based work uses front-end web technologies pushed to their limit. You will use a combination of standard and internal tools and sometimes work with customers directly to explain and improve your deliverables.


Desired Skills & Experience:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent is required
  • Deep experience building JavaScript for cross-browser, and cross-domain environments
  • Should know jQuery and have hands-on experience with coded AJAX
  • Experience customizing for mobile web (Android, iPhone, iPad)
  • Prefer strong knowledge of CSS3 animations and transitions
  • Prefer advertising experience or other new media
  • Exceptional documentation skills a plus
  • Knowledge of standard API's -- Google Maps, Twitter, Facebook
  • Enjoys fast-paced, project-based work
  • Comfortable with client-facing position
