Many meetup and other political mailing lists allow too many low value emails and clutter our inboxes and watse our time. However, these list can also be extremely useful tools. How much, and what kinds of activity should we allow. Many of us in the MLP and other similar groups have gone through this many times and I want to avoid problems while keeping this open and useful. It's possible to control your emails personally using meetup controls e.g. limit to one per day. What are your thoguhts? I realize I can't capture all your thoughts in my predetermined polls answers. This year in NYC there will be over 60 citywide races for Mayor, Comptroller, Public Advocate, over 50 City Council Races and more. With NYC's budget in turmoil, Bloomberg running for a third term and the city in economic crisis - what is most important issue specific to NYC? Please focus on issues relavant to LOCAL races. I'm sure I don't have all the important topics listed as choices. Please contribute to the message board thread and I will update the poll.
