Learn hands-on how to be a better musician by jamming with others. Expose myself to new people and new music. It's my religion, my spirituality. Support each other when we do live gigs to keep NYC's live music kicking.
Master the guitar-do covers & originals, compose, lyric writing, record songs, Find bandmates, rehearse at least 2x/week, make a CD, do open mics, live gigs, sell music. Express the musical uniqueness that's dying to come out. Have fun.
Acoustic/electric guitar, Bass guitar, congas/Djembe a little bit, maracas, sing.
Rock, blues, funk, metal, reggae, punk, Latin Alternative, salsa, flamenco, Middle Eastern, African. I'm still learning but I'm influenced by music from all over the world.
Send me an email and I'll send you some song. When I get to know people, I'll let them listen to what I (we) have.
Beginner guitar player looking forward to meeting other musicians (drummers, bassists, guitarists, etc.) to learn from and jam with. Have a rehearsal room with piano & drum kit in basement, live in Midtown South. send an email if interested.
Great way to network and possibly meet your future band members.
