How did you hear about our group?

I found it on the Joseph Campbell Foundation website.

Tell us a little about your interest in Mythology

I've been fascinated with mythology since I was a kid pretending I was on some quest or another. As an English literature student, I'm especially interested in the intersections of mythology, psychology, and literature in the work of James Joyce, T.S. Eliot, and W.B. Yeats. More practically, as a teacher I'm exploring the links between myth and childhood development and trying to use different mythic elements and role models to encourage my students to think of themselves as the heroes in their own lives.

Additional information:

I'm a reading teacher for elementary school students, a grad student in English, and more often than not, a writer. I moved to New York City almost a year ago and am slowly becoming more civilized and less confused - I guess.
