Time Forward Beginner Walk - Rockefeller via Sleepy Hollow HS Parking Lot

Since I don't own snowshoes, I think this has been my longest stretch without a hike in 4 years. I am coming out of my cocoon with one of the easiest hikes that we do. This is actually more a walk than a hike but keep in mind that we are still walking on snow covered ground so:

1) Please do not sign on if you are coming off any injury.
2) Please be aware that the path may be slippery in spots.

I am not making microspikes a requirement but I'd say at a minimum that boots are. I will have spikes with me as a backup.

I plan to start at 12:45 so if you are directionally challenged or one of those people who require additional prep time please factor that into your plans.

Timeline from 12:45 until around 3PM

Well behaved dogs are welcome - I may ask that you stay either in the front or the back of the group if you bring a dog.

$1.00 Suggested Donation

Please remember to bring at least 1 bottle of water. Also a change of footwear for your ride home.

Meetup Location - Sleepy Hollow H.S. Parking lot - opposite running track and side that is closest to route 448. If you come in off route 9, find the school, find the track and meetup location will be the lot on the left hand side.

If you need to reach me, my number is (917)[masked]

In the event of iffy weather, will provide an update both via e-mail and on the site itself before 11AM.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
