DEEP ENERGY RETROFIT WORKSHOP with Lloyd Hamilton of Verdae LLC, Gregory Pedrick of NYSERDA, Brian Mulder of Mulder Construction, and Todd Pascarella of NY Energy Experts, who will present pilot projects which are transforming several older, poorly insulated, inefficient homes to an extraordinarily high level of energy efficiency using insulation, energy efficient appliances and innovative systems designed to drastically reduce energy consumption, costs and carbon footprint while improving comfort for the building's residents. Includes a tour of one of the projects with builder and team. Other speakers include RUPCO’s Michael Courtney on Green Jobs/Green NY, who can help you sign up for a free energy audit and show you how you can save money, reduce your carbon footprint, and pay for your energy improvements through the Green Jobs/Green NY on-bill payment system, Croton Mayor Leo Wiegman (Croton Energy Group) on Energize NY and Energize Financing, and NYS Assembly Energy Chair Amy Paulin (invited).
