Hello Skiers,

We are organizing a ski/board trip to the "greatest snow on earth!" .... well thats the official slogan of Park City, UT.   Park City is a great old-west town in the Rockies.  They've got awesome skiing and nightlife so this will be a great trip for everyone.  Currently the trip is weekend based for 3/4/5 nights depending on how long you want to go.

There are three world class resorts near Park City that cater to all range of skiers and boarders - if you are a beginner the ski-schools here are excellent.  Park City is about an hour from Salt Lake City which is a major airline hub. 

Enrouta Travel Package:

Enrouta will be providing us with a discount package for hotels and a room share roster if you are a single traveler.  The hotel property is Yarrow Resort.  Its a 3/4 star hotel with free ski shuttle to the slopes and a 10 minute walk or free shuttle ride to the village center.  Besides the hotel cost out of pocket costs will be

* Airfare

* Transfer Shuttle (We'll organize ride sharing discounts where possible)

* Lift Tickets and Rentals (Again based on group size we'll organize group discounts)

* Meals and drinks

Enrouta will only be marketing this to groups similar to ours so the group will be primarily South Asians - but anyone is welcome.

How to Reserve a Spot:

First mark your attendance here - even if you arent sure you can go.  Then you have a few options:

A)  Single Travelers/Two Travelers: Make a booking and pay deposit for part of the group hotel block at:

Select Meetup in where you have heard about us and you'll get $30 off (OR use the discount code: SAEC-SKI)  The price of the room is very competitive given high season and you wont find lower at the 3/4 star level near the village.

Prices below are per person for Lodging based on sharing with only one other person(with the discount and including tax):

3 Nights: $260      4nights: $350      5 nights: $430

There are a limited number of rooms with this rate so try to book soon.

B)  If you wish to cut costs and know 2/3 other people then you can book a 3 or 4 share.   This is obviously more cramped and messy but a bargain.   The pricing with tax for four people for example is:

3 Nights: $140    4nights: $180       5nights: $220.

C)  The group rate will probably be the best rate available at this standard hotel.  But there are always cheaper and more expensive options from the Best Western up to the Waldorf Astoria Park City.   Anyone is free to stay anywhere they like and still participate at all group activities.  Just mark your attendance in Meetup and I'll send you the meals, ski resort and happy hours schedules for the weekend.

I wanted to get this trip on the calendar early as its best to book air tickets early.  There will be more shorter local trips posted here shortly.
