I'm a senior software engineer looking to apply my expertise on secure data interchange to the healthcare industry

What are you looking for from the group?

Partners and help with investment strategy

What healthcare and technology experience and expertise do you bring to the group?

I'm a senior software developer in the financial industry, and have been studying the HL7 v2 and v3 protocols, OpenMRS/OpenHIE code base, and Direct protocol

Do you have contractual commitments that could jeopardize ownership of the group members' developments?

At this point are you sticking a toe in the water or already making efforts towards solutions?

Making as much effort as I can without violating my contractual commitments.

Hi Peter and welcome. Hopefully you will not get into contractual commitment problems with some 3rd party claiming that the group's efforts are theirs.

Looking forward to talking to you about the protocol aspects of what will drive "personal control over healthcare." My impression is that HL7 will be important and that the new IEEE 802.15.6 protocol to capture data from sensors and NIEM the data exchange protocol t0 share EHR data.

Your expertise can make you an important contributor.
