Attention everybody, this is your captain speaking.
I've always wanted to say that.
Rest assured NYC After Dark isn't getting shut down anytime soon. I love night photography too much to let this group get shut down. We might be a little quieter during the winter since it's kinda cold out. But I promise once the weather gets nicer well have more outings. I am open to any and all night shooting ideas you guys may have for any time of year so please don't hesitate to email me.
That's all I got for ya right now but I promise to be in touch with you all more after the holidays.
So until we Meetup again have a great whatever you celebrate and I'll see ya next year!
"The streets are clear, the sidewalks are empty, a million lights open the way to a world concealed by the light of day. Shooting at night has been a joy for me. I'd love to do more of it, and I'd love to share the experience with others who share my appreciation for the night (and my sleep schedule). The aim of this group is to organize get-togethers where we can explore at night and use photography to document the city at rest. We'll shoot using tripods, flashes, or whatever ambient light we come across on our wanderings. All skill levels are welcome, and everyone who has a desire to improve or meet new friends is encouraged to participate!" -Roy Hubbard, founder of NYC After Dark
