Hey everyone! I haven't had the chance to meet any of you at past events, but I think this would be a very cool opportunity for everyone! What would be better than dressing in costumes/cosplay and walking in the Halloween parade? We'd have to arrange a time and place to meet beforehand, but I think it would be awesome walking in the parade with new friends!

I will be doing an anime/cosplay coffeehouse on January 16th, 2010. There will be poetry, song, dance, and maybe a little stage combat and stand-up comedy. Prizes will be awarded for each division, along with contestant prizes. The first 30 attendants will receive a small incentive gift. It will hopefully take place at Bryant Park, weather permitting. Otherwise, the Citigroup Atrium will be our fallback.

If you want to perform at the coffeehouse, it's free, I will try and get some food together between now and then. However, any and all donations would be greatly appreciated.

Deadline for Performance submissions will be January 8th, so you all have plenty of time to prepare your acts, should you decide to enter.

Hello everyone, My name is Michael Bruner and I co-own the National Halloween Convention on April 30th - May 2nd 2010.
