Additional information about Meetup location:

MTV Networks at 1515 Broadway is located in the heart of Times Square. Access to the building can be found at the northwest corner of 44th street and Broadway. It is accessible via cab/car or mass transit. There is a parking garage located within the building that can be accessed via 44th and 45th Street (between Broadway & 8th Avenue).
The easiest and most direct access to the building is via Subway, which is the encouraged method of transportation: Times Square subway station is located directly 2 blocks south of 1515 Broadway at the intersection of 42nd between 6th and 7th Ave. Subways with access to this station are as follows: NQRW (YELLOW), 123 (RED), 7 (PURPLE), ACE (Blue), and "S" the Shuttle to Grand Central Station (Grey).     I enjoyed the meeting and learned a lot, but as a newbie I would have appreciated a 5-slide introduction to set the scene before the first speaker dived into the details of the latest Solr release.
