Hi, I'm Mary. I'm a fan of Tolkien's writings & other fantasy authors. I'm looking forward to keeping up with old friends & making new ones.

I enjoy the Harry Potter series, as well as Charlaine Harris, Jim Butcher, & George R.R. Martin. For TV: True Blood, Smallville & Supernatural are some of my favorite shows.
If you have read the Lord of the Rings books, did you see the movies first or did you read the books first?
I read the books 1st.
Do you know who the Inklings were? Don't worry if you don't know. You'll find out if you attend a meet up.
I'm most familiar with Tolkien & C.S. Lewis, though I'd like to read some of the other Inklings as well.
