Let us know what aspect of fantasy you are interested in.

I'm interested in "The Tales That Really Matter" -- stories that mean something beyond what the characters experience. I'm not strictly a fantasy fan (sci-fi is a passion, as well). But there's no denying the power of LOTR.

If you have read the Lord of the Rings books, did you see the movies first or did you read the books first?

I read the books in preparation for the films. The films are excellent (but by no means perfect) adaptations of the books. Plus, the films gave us Howard Shore's transcendent scores. Can't wait for the Hobbit films!

Do you know who the Inklings were? Don't worry if you don't know. You'll find out if you attend a meet up.

I'm thoroughly jealous of the Inklings.

Samuel Walters is a pen name -- speaking of which, I'd like to finish my book sometime this decade.
