Catskills High Peaks: Big Indian/Fir Mountain

  • No location was chosen

Hiking through the Catskills is a must for anyone living in NYC. With over 35 peaks most of which reach 3500 in elevation, you're bound to get the challenge and reward all hikers seek. This was one of my most fulfilling backpacking experiences within the 50 states and definitely one that all can enjoy whether you're an moderate hiker or first time backpacker. It'll be around the peak of fall in the Catskills which means we're all in for a wonderful, new experience!

For a sneak peak of the trail, click here.

Hey hey! Since we're getting close to the date, I just wanted to check in if this is still happening. Will we be camping or staying at a cabin/hotel/lodge? Let me know if you need any help with planning or anything. I'm dying to get out of the city!
