NYCCEO February Seminar: Cross-Border Entrepreneurship

Join fellow technologists, entrepreneurs, and investors for the NYC Chinese Entrepreneur Organization's (NYCCEO) February Seminar on Wednesday Feb. 26th from 7pm-9pm!

This is the first time we will bring to you a seminar format. We will focus on cross-border entrepreneurship enhanced by discussions/interaction with the speakers and demo teams. Right now, on our panel speaker list are: Dr. George Wu, Lijie Zhu and Jason Ji, President from Axon US Corp a cross-boarder business startup. 

NYCCEO is where entrepreneurs and investors with interest in China or from a Chinese background share and network. Speakers for the previous 10 meetups include several serial entrepreneurs with successful IPO on Nasdaq or acquired by companies like Google etc, several founders of NYC start-ups backed by IDG/YCombinator/Lerer/First Round Capital/Khosla, and venture capitalists from both U.S. and China. Our audience is pretty diversified but all share with the same entrepreneurial spirit.

Panelist List:

George Wu 

serves as the President of HGR US of Hinge Global Resource Inc. Mr. Wu is a Co-founder of DoubleBridge Technology Inc. and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He has over 20 years experience in software development, project management and business development and management. He has over 12 years IT experiences to DoubleBridge Technologies. He served as Practice/Technical Manager for the Internet Technology Service (ITS) Division of Oracle, where he led several strategic projects for Oracle such as Books Online (,, XinHua. com, and As Practice Manager, he managed over twenty consultants for the Oracle ITS(CTS) Division New York Office.

Mr. Wu worked as software developer and IT consultants for several well know companies such as City Bank, AT&Y and RW Beck. He has extensive expertise in large scale project management, especially in large scale distributed sites software project management and he also achieved a high standard of company management, company business development, process design and control and company Profit and Lost (P&L) management. Mr. Wu has extensive expertise in system architecture design, software application design and Oracle database system, object-oriented programming, component-based design/development, and e-business service development. Mr. Wu served as New York Area consultant manager at Oracle Cooperation. Under his leadership, Oracle Core Technology New York practice experienced outstanding performance during 1998-1999. He serves as Director of DoubleBridge Technology Inc. He graduated from Beijing University with Bachelor of Science degree in 1982 and then went abroad to study in U.S.A. Mr. Wu got Doctor Degree of Engineering from Colorado State University in 1992.

Lijie Zhu

 is Managing Director of Dragon Gate Investment Partners, Executive Officer of CorpOnline™ and CorpStarter™, and Partner of BRICS Connect Inc. Ms. Zhu has more than 10 years’ experience in the financial and media industry in America, Europe and Asia. She was Vice Director of The Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Chief Financial Officer for a US listed Chinese company, a credit analyst for Rogge Global Partners in London, and a financial analyst for Aufhauser Securities in New York. She also worked as a business reporter for China Center Television (CCTV) and China News Service. Ms. Zhu is a frequently invited speaker for international conferences and universities. She graduated with a MBA and a MS degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and a BA degree in Journalism and a Law Degree from Lanzhou University in China.  Lijie Zhu was honored as one of the 50 Outstanding Asian Americans in Business 2011 by the Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC).

Jason Ji

Our staffs are all specialized in international trade with rich experience, excellent business capability and wholehearted working spirit.
