I am very excited to do this workshop on the art of time lapse photography. This will be a double workshop class. The first half will be dedicated to learning camera settings and composition and the second half we will learn how to put it together on a laptop. Please make sure your camera has either a built in intervalometer or an external one. Bring a tripod if you have one and a big memory card and if you have an apple laptop with quicktime pro. If you don't have laptop or software I can help you put it together. Look forward to seeing you all there.

THIS IS A BANGING WORKSHOP YOU DON"T WANNA MISS!!!!

For those of you who RSVP'd yes and didn't show please out of common courtesy for all who showed, next time please cancel or notify meetup if you won't be attending so those who showed wouldn't have to wait around (excluding emergencies of course). Thank you for your cooperation and look forward to our next workshop.

The final experiment was done literally at street level at Times Square. Familiar looking billboards looking uptown and a couple of familiar characters show up too.

I totally enjoyed shooting this one!

The third time lapse exercise, also done at Bryant Park. This time the focus was more on the sky, clouds and the skyline than on the skaters in the foreground.

The second time lapse done at Bryant park, Citi Pond. Shot with a shallow depth of field so that people passing by are caught completely in focus in brief flashes while the background is out of focus. Also the camera was not fixed but rather moved by hand over the available railing.
